Amy Dale – Collections Curator
I first moved to St Andrews in 2007 to undertake an M.Litt in Museum and Gallery Studies. After completing the course I was lucky enough to be offered a post working for the Museum Collections Unit as the first collections Trainee. It was a busy 12 months during which I helped get MUSA open to the public and learnt lots about the life of a museum curator. For a little while I worked as the Project Officer in the store and then became the Collections Curator. It’s my job to care for 112,000 objects and several sites. If you see a small person carrying a large painting around the University, that’s normally me.
