MUSA in my eyes

I am a postgraduate from the Museum and Gallery Studies M.Litt. course at the Unversity of St Andrews. Now I am working on a project for MUSA’s web content development. This blog is a part of my job, so it is a pleasure to add my own words in the post. Let me tell you more information about MUSA. Because our teaching sessions are in the Learning Loft at MUSA, it is amazing to study in this activity room surrounded by talented young artists’ paintings. During the break, I always go downstairs to get a close look at different galleries. Can you imagine how wonderful it is to study inside the university museum?

Also, we recently open an exhibition called The Parrot and the Polymath: A Celebration of the Life of Sir D’Arcy Wentworth Thompson, curated by our group. It shows from 20th March to 3rd May 2010 in Gateway Galleries (Mon-Fri 09.00-17.30; Sat 10.00-17.00) and admission is free for all visitors. A large number of animals, letters and photographs are displayed to explore D’Arcy’s life as a famous naturalist, a scientist, a professor and a family man. Here is our website: http://www-ah.st-andrews.ac.uk/parrotandpolymath. You are very welcome to the exhibition!
